What’s Good and Whats’s Bad in New Twitter

Since Wednesday I had been hearing a lot about the ‘New Twitter‘ that surprisingly came up with bunch of new features all in one go. A nice efforts by Teams but already facing a lot of critique since many of the users have still not able to get their hands on the new twitter interface. Odd? Yeah it is. The hottest things about this new twitter is that, it is fast and easy to use. The appearance is much cooler than earlier. All mentions, re-tweets, search and list-all is in a single interface above the time line.

The expansion on right side is meant to show recent tweets, followers, following people, favorites, trending topics, and follow suggestions etc. Other hotness’s includes related content  that expands on right side and shows additional information related to the author or subject. Miniprofiles, photos, videos, other media content etc etc . Last but not the least, the most hottie is the cutie tweetie (twitter bird) which Espreson Media has designed and giving away for free use.

Coming to odds, Initially it is not available for all the users so that’s a big concern for many loyal tweeples. Others think, it is kinda complicated. Everything in a single interface is a little over whelming and users will take time to get use to of it. The worst about it is, the new interface has some additional space at right which is actually destroying the background of many profiles. Now changing these backgrounds all the way is a time consuming task and tweeples believe it should have been adjusted automatically.

Despite all oddness and hotness, I liked the idea reason being Twitter is determined to embrace change and change is what everybody loves. Happy Tweeting anyways !!
