Gmail Motion becomes reality with Microsoft Xbox Kinect. As I already published in my 1st April post about Gmail Motion that it is something similar to the Microsoft Xbox Kinect which captures the body movements and performs the action. So the Gmail Motion prank is not a prank anymore and is possible and is implemented by some genius people from University of Southern California Institute for Creative Technologies.
Gmail team today launched a new exciting feature which I guess will become very popular in no time and people will actually like it. The conventional way or writing and email is with your keyboard and mouse, how about writing without them? Your webcam will capture your motion to write your emails! Yes, its true!
Gmail has a very unique and cool feature with the usernames. Previously wrote an article “Gmail Bug With UserID” but after getting the response from users and my friends, I realized I made a mistake and the article was totally wrong. Gmail does not have a bug, rather it is a unique feature with its usernames. If you have an account email@example.com then firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com are referred to the same username.
Today I received an email on my non-gmail account (the alternative email set in my gmail) with the link to reset the password of my gmail account. I never requested for the password reset, and I was amazed about that. The interesting thing was the email mentioned the gmail id in it for which the password reset request was made but it was not my ID. My gmail id is talalmasood but the password reset request which was made was for talal.masood. (CORRECTION TO MY THIS ARTICLE IS “GOOGLE USERNAME WITH UNIQUE FEATURE)
Recently Yahoo.com announced a newer version of their homepage. The new version of the Yahoo homepage is much more interactive, flexible and easy to use. I always had a problem bookmarking or make any page as a homepage of my browser. I mean usually Live.com (formally MSN.com) or Yahoo, or Facebook or Orkut, and so on.. there were so many website which had that button of “Make it your Homepage”, but I never cared because there was nothing of my interest in there.
Google’s email service Gmail is one of the most popular web-based email service with over 130million users worldwide. There had been many software and applications available to utilize the gmail’s huge inbox space to store and backup your files from your personal computer. But now mobiles are in to game too. gStorage is a symbian app which put a separate storage in your mobile phone handset.
Google Mail aka Gmail has been working on their email service since a long time and still weeks after weeks some new unique and exciting feature comes out. Sometimes those features are some sort of mods or sometimes the mail Gmail interface gets a luxury. Just like the Gmail’s multiple Inbox mod previously launched by Google Labs, this time Gmail introduced the multiple file attachments option. Before this the users will not able to attach more than one file at a time to the composed email.
Google Labs is working days and nights to built new features for Google. Today Google released a new feature for Gmail called “MultiInbox”. Now you can have mulitple inbox canvases on your gmail inbox page. You can create filters and apply them using simple gmail search commands.
As you all are already aware that Google Gmail has a Google Lab feature where Google developers team continuously put new features as an add-on to the gmail for their users. You can customize the features/modification and looks of your account the way you want with enabling and disabling of different useful features. I would like to share some good features that you must enable to customize your gmail account.
