Microsoft Office 14 showing up next week

Microsoft is going to show up their new suite of MS Office to the people attending the Professional Developers’ Conference next week. A slideshow of the timeframe of the launch of Office 14 has already been released on the Internet.

The official release date of Office 14 was expected to be shipped in the market in late 2009 or early 2010 with the release of Windows 7 operating system. The previous version of Microsoft Office i.e. Office 2007 was released in year 2007 and it was seen that there were some major changes in it.

How To Change File Extension in Windows

I have seen many computer users who dont even know how to change the file extension of a filename in Microsoft Windows operation system. I wonder why people use computer then? I guess instead of buying a DVD Player people started buying computer systems, with a thought that DVD Player can play DVDs only, whereas a Computer can play DVDs + It has an Internet. Wow! Windows Live Hotmail Wave 3 Screenshots

Recently you all must have received emails from Microsoft mentioning about the new Windows Live Hotmail. The new version of this Windows Live Hotmail is the part of Microsoft’s new Windows Live Wave 3. The new Windows Live Hotmail is said to be 75% more faster than the current version and there will be no such option as Full Version or Classic Version. It is expected that the new Wave 3 version of Windows Live Hotmail will hit the users somewhere in the mid of October 2008.

Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 released

After a long long period of Beta finally Yahoo! released their new Messenger. The look of the Yahoo Messenger 9.0 has been changed and the new look is a little troubling for new users. We have been using the old look since so long and the users were used to of that look. But the new look espeically the Windows Vista supported Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 is an entire change of the outlook.

All the rest of the features of Yahoo! Messenger are almost the same as old one. But there is something strange with the versions on different operating systems. Microsoft Windows XP compatible Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 has all the features, but Windows Vista has limited features. I wonder why Windows Vista’s features are less, though Microsoft is promoting Vista on a massive scale.

It includes the new beta versions of Windows Live Messenger 9, Windows Live Write, Windows Live Photo Gallery, Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Family Safety, Outlook Connector and for the first time Windows Live Movie Maker Beta is also included in the package.
