Last week the world’s biggest and most popular file sharing service website Megaupload.com was blocked and seized by FBI because of the anti-piracy law. Just a day after SOPA and PIPA were withdrawn megaupload was seized by FBI on somewhat same basis what SOPA was claiming. Just few minutes ago, second most popular file hosting website, filesonic shutdown and disabled their file sharing functionality
Rapidshare.com was founded just 3 years ago in year 2006 and became the world’s best file hosting and file sharing service. Rapidshare is currently hosting several petabytes of data with hundreds of gigabyte bandwidth Internet connection to their servers for providing the users with a free file sharing / file hosting service. During last year rapidshare changed an overall interface of their website and now rapidshare is going to provide even a better interface for their premium account members.
Megaupload.com finally realized the problem and changed the total design of the website. They had been trying hard to get into the business more like the rapidshare but had always been lacking behind. Megaupload’s major problem in the previous design was the total flash based interface. Everything on the site was flashed based and the users used to get annoyed with slow loading speed of the website.
