Microsoft has finally decide to launch Internet Explorer 9 on SXSW tomorrow 14th March 2011. According to Microsoft it is going to be a year of Internet Explorer for the PC users. MSIE9 took quite a long time to release and Microsoft released beta and RC versions before finally launching to make sure the users get exactly what they need.

There are currently four giants in the IT Industry which are competing with each other in one or an other way. One starts to work on something and the other markets something else but much more attractive for the consumers. Sometimes I see all of them going on different directions to attract as many users as they can. For instance, Apple started to attract consumers with their Music gadget iPod and then came into the competition with a bigger and better version of the operating system to compete Microsoft, and Microsoft already holding the biggest market of operating system with Windows now jumps in with Microsoft Zune for music lovers.

Private Browsing Race, Directly Supporting Porn

Since last few weeks you all must have noticied the new race in the web broswers. Private Browsing feature is recently introduced into the market of web browsers as a new technique to browse the Internet. First Apple Safari introduced it, then Google Chrome, then the copying spectator Microsoft IE 8 Beta and last of all Mozilla Firefox 3.1

Basically what this private browsing feature?
Answer to this very simple question is, it simple does not store any tracks of the websites that you browsing during that session. It will not keep a track of your History, the Cookies, the Temporarily saved Internet files, etc. on your computer’s harddrive. As soon as you close the browser window. Your browser clears away all the cache for those websites. In the end, result is – Save Private Browsing.

Why was this feature introduced?
At first we thought its for those people who browse Internet at public places to make their browsing safe for their web-based emails and other personal things. But later when you seen in deapth its not.

Firefox add-on protects against hackers

Carnegie-Mellon University has developed a free add-on to the Mozilla Firefox 3.0 browser to boost security for users.

The Perspectives add-on was developed at the university’s School of Computer Science and College of Engineering.

The software protects Firefox users against potential “man-in-the-middle” wireless attacks when users are surfing the web.

The Perspectives system also supports domain name website certificates provided by the likes of VeriSign, Comodo and Godaddy.

How To Browse Privately In Google Chrome

Google Chrome, the open source browser project by Google was released yesterday for public download in about 100 languages.

Chrome brought many new interesting features like Incognito being one of them. It is a similar feature to InPrivate in IE8 and more commonly known as porn made that allows you to browse the web privately, and no information related to yuor browsing will be saved in your computer.
