Undersea Optic Fibre CableOn Friday, the underwater optic fibre cable connecting Asia with Europe and US was cut down at the Mediterranean Sea. This is the second time in the year that this cable was damaged. As a result most of the Middle Eastern countries including – United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Sudan, Yemen; were knocked out from Internet access.

Chinese Nokia N97 was launched before original Nokia N97

Chinese Nokia N97I think Chinese people are aliens 🙂 look at this. Chinese cloned the Nokia n97 concept. I mean Nokia N97 was not even announced at that time and was just a conceptual phone. Chinese didn’t took any chance and they cloned that conceptual handset even before the launch and announcement of the Nokia N97 release. This shows the talented and genius mind of Chinese people.

Nokia N95, Is it classic?

Nokia N95 is not that much old handset, but I am surprised to know that Nokia N95 is not available in the UK market anymore. You cannot buy a new Nokia N95 in UK anymore. I remember the time when Nokia N95 was launched and all the news and stuff about the handset. Yes no doubt, Nokia N95 was THE best handset by nokia at that time, with so many cool features and a good slider. Though Nokia N95 Slider had manufacturing faults in it, but still people never cared for it and its sale was quite good.

Gmail New Features, Text SMS in Chat and Tasks

Google is putting more and more into their gmail email system. Yesterday Gmail introduced the Text SMS in Gmail Chat service. Now you don’t have to worry if someone gets away from the computer. You can simple put in the Mobile number of your contact and send SMS to them. This feature was expected to launch eariler but Google was having some issues with it and was thinking to roll out this feature but then finally they launched it. You can simply type in the number of your contact in the left side chat contacts panel and it will give you the option to send sms. The SMS Text message is just available for the US contacts only right now. It means you can send SMS Text Message to anyone in US.

Vertu – Luxurious and Most Expensive Mobile Phone Handsets

Vertu brand is considered to be one of the most expensive mobile phone handsets in the market. Vertu is a subsidery brand of Nokia which is a finnish company. The handsets of Vertu are usually either gold platted or both gold platted with original diamonds on it. Expensive stones are used in making of the sets including, Diamonds, Rubies, Sapphire, etc. and also leather is used for their casings. All the handsets are hand-made. The most expensive handset of Vertu was called Vertu Signature Cobra which costed US$310,000 and the regular handset is called Signature Diamond which costs around US$88,000.

Nokia to leave Japanese Market

Nokia has today announced that they will now leave the market of Japan and will not sell or market any nokia product in Japan. Nokia claimed that the sales in Japanese market of the past years is not what they were expecting. To give a little clearer picture of what they meant by withdrawing from Japan means that only their sale and marketing of new nokia products will not be made in Japan anymore. Whereas the Nokia’s luxury mobile phone brand Vertu (Vertu brand is counted among the most expensive mobile phone sets) will still be sold in the Japanese mobile market. On the other hand the research and development process will also remain in Japan.

Timo Ihamuotila, the executive vice president of Nokia made the following statement: “In the current global economic climate, we have concluded that the continuation of our investment in Japan-specific product variants is no longer sustainable.”

I bought a new Nokia N95 after bringing the box home I opened the set and was like, what the hell? The top slider of Nokia 95 was lose from the right side. When you tap the slider from the right side it gives the click-click sound and is pretty much lose. Then, I was told that Nokia N95 Slider has a manufacturing fault.
