Since the launch of Windows Phone 7.5 operating systems the smartphone manufacturing companies are struggling hard to come up with the best WP7 phone. HTC as usual is in the race too and provide the best smartphones. At some points I think HTC is the company that started the race in the smartphone industry to manufacture the most devices in a year. Every two to three month, we get a new amazing handset in the market by HTC. HTC HD 7 was the first Windows Phone 7 OS based handset and now again being the pioneer in manufacturing handsets for Microsoft. HTC Radar is out in the market which is Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system based smartphone.

Skype Coming on Windows Phone 7 But No Support For Two-Way Video Calling Yet!

On MIX ’11 Microsoft’s VP for Windows Phone Program Management Joe Belfiore announced that Skype is making its way on to Windows Phone 7 pretty soon. On the same event, Microsoft announced the release of the famous game Angry Birds too. Skype is so far known as the best VoIP calling service which enables mobile users to call through Internet instead of their mobile carrier service provider.

Angry Birds Releasing on Windows Phone 7 on 25th May

Microsoft at the second day of MIX ’11 announced that Windows Phone 7 has around 13,000 application in the store and the most popular game on handsets, Angry Birds is releasing on 25th of May 2011 on Windows Phone 7.

Microsoft Nokia Partnership, Joint Press Conference Video

Steve Ballmer (CEO, Microsoft) and Stephen Elop (CEO, Nokia) today (11th Feb. 2011) had a joint press conference. The conference started at 2AM PST and ended up at 2:45AM PST, in which they announced their new joint venture to work together. Nokia will have Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating system as their core OS for the next generation smartphones. Watch the recorded webcast of the press conference here.
