Bing & Yahoo Will Search From Facebook?

Microsoft developed the bing search engine and marketed it at extreme so that they could somehow come close to the search engine market of google. Microsoft also made a deal with Yahoo! the second biggest search engine which is now ‘powered by BING’. After all this, we are still able to see more things coming in from Microsoft for the bing network.

Comparison of Google, Microsoft, Apple and Yahoo

There are currently four giants in the IT Industry which are competing with each other in one or an other way. One starts to work on something and the other markets something else but much more attractive for the consumers. Sometimes I see all of them going on different directions to attract as many users as they can. For instance, Apple started to attract consumers with their Music gadget iPod and then came into the competition with a bigger and better version of the operating system to compete Microsoft, and Microsoft already holding the biggest market of operating system with Windows now jumps in with Microsoft Zune for music lovers.

Yahoo’s new homepage is awesome

Yahoo LogoRecently Yahoo.com announced a newer version of their homepage. The new version of the Yahoo homepage is much more interactive, flexible and easy to use. I always had a problem bookmarking or make any page as a homepage of my browser. I mean usually Live.com (formally MSN.com) or Yahoo, or Facebook or Orkut, and so on.. there were so many website which had that button of “Make it your Homepage”, but I never cared because there was nothing of my interest in there.

Yahoo! Mail Under Maintenance

Yahoo! MailYahoo Mail is not working right now. My friend Hassan just showed me the screenshot of the Yahoo! Mail and asked me that what is the issue. He is not that much into computers so he thought there might be some problem with his logging in.Yahoo Mail service is out of order and will remain for one whole day. The maintenance time begins at Friday 13th March 2009 and will end by Saturday 14th March 2009.

Google ends deal with Yahoo!

Since last one month there were on-going rumors that Google might end up the deal with Yahoo! Google was surving Google Ads in Yahoo! Search Engine for the last four months. Today Google’s senior VP David Drummond announced on his blog that Google is no longer going to continue with the partnership deal with Yahoo!

Turn on your speakers/headphone and then click the exclaimation mark i.e. “!”

Oh yea! you see! I can bet you never noticed this all ever before.

Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 released

After a long long period of Beta finally Yahoo! released their new Messenger. The look of the Yahoo Messenger 9.0 has been changed and the new look is a little troubling for new users. We have been using the old look since so long and the users were used to of that look. But the new look espeically the Windows Vista supported Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 is an entire change of the outlook.

All the rest of the features of Yahoo! Messenger are almost the same as old one. But there is something strange with the versions on different operating systems. Microsoft Windows XP compatible Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 has all the features, but Windows Vista has limited features. I wonder why Windows Vista’s features are less, though Microsoft is promoting Vista on a massive scale.
