Intel has announched that they will be launching the new next generation micro-architecture Intel Core i7 Processor in San Fransico, California on November 17, 2008 at an event named as “The Fastest Processor on the Planet”.
The expected prices are (for bulk buyers):
- Intel Core i7 – 920 (2.66Ghz) $284
- Intel Core i7 – 940 (2.93Ghz) $562
- Intel Core i7 – 965 Extreme Edition (3.20Ghz) $999
These prices were for the bulk buyers, so it is obvious that the consumers/end-users will have to pay more.
