Gmail has a very unique and cool feature with the usernames. Previously wrote an article “Gmail Bug With UserID” but after getting the response from users and my friends, I realized I made a mistake and the article was totally wrong. Gmail does not have a bug, rather it is a unique feature with its usernames. If you have an account username@gmail.com then user.name@gmail.com or username+something@gmail.com are referred to the same username.

Today I received an email on my non-gmail account (the alternative email set in my gmail) with the link to reset the password of my gmail account. I never requested for the password reset, and I was amazed about that. The interesting thing was the email mentioned the gmail id in it for which the password reset request was made but it was not my ID. My gmail id is talalmasood but the password reset request which was made was for talal.masood. (CORRECTION TO MY THIS ARTICLE IS “GOOGLE USERNAME WITH UNIQUE FEATURE)
Recently Yahoo.com announced a newer version of their homepage. The new version of the Yahoo homepage is much more interactive, flexible and easy to use. I always had a problem bookmarking or make any page as a homepage of my browser. I mean usually Live.com (formally MSN.com) or Yahoo, or Facebook or Orkut, and so on.. there were so many website which had that button of “Make it your Homepage”, but I never cared because there was nothing of my interest in there.
Google today announced officially the launch of the first Operating System by Google called “Google Chrome OS” and yes, its an Open Source Operating System. It is designed specially for the netbooks, as Google see an avalanche of netbooks coming into the market in the coming years. Google Chrome OS will be able to run on any x86 machine as well as the mobile AMR processor. Further Google said that the final version of the OS will be available in the market by the second half of year 2010. Google said that all the applications of Google Chrome OS will be web-based.
As you all already know that Apple iPhone and iPod are the hottest gadgets of this decade. The best part of these gadgets is that you can put new apps in it and get more out of it. Millions of developers around the world are working daily on developing new apps for iPhone and iPod. Yesterday I came across a very unique app called “iCar Remote”. I saw its video on youtube and I was stunned that can iPhone really do this? It was kind of impossible.
Finally Apple has announced the date for the launch of the new Apple iPhone 3GS on the WWDC 2009. WWDC is “World Wide Developers Conference” which is held every year. Apple’s vice president Phil Schiller at the Apple keynotes announced the launch of the new iPhone. The OS of the phone is upgraded and is the 3rd version which is quite common to ears now, the “iPhone 3.0″. Apple is launching iPhone without Steve Jobs.
I still can’t think of a proper title for this post, but I guess may be it’s relevant to the topic. Do you know which users got the maximum or highest number of followers? How many twitter followers you have? Hundred or may be something in Thousand figure? Thats quite less. OK, let me ask you again, how many maximum followers can you think of? What do you think would be the maximum number of followers someone has on his twitter? The answer is 1,804,029.
Without a doubt Microsoft Windows XP is so far the most liked and most reliable operating system by Microsoft. PC users don’t want to upgrade their operating system from Windows XP to Windows Vista or even the upcoming new Windows 7. XP lovers will are using WinXP and because of this reason Microsoft had to extend the WinXP support two times. Its been nine years since the release of Windows XP and still people are using it.
