Sarah Louise Heath Palin (born February 11, 1964) is the governor of Alaska and the Republican vice-presidential nominee in the 2008 United States presidential election. She is the youngest person to have been elected to the position, and Alaska’s first female governor.
In 1988, Sarah Heath eloped to marry Todd Palin, her high-school boyfriend. Todd Palin works for the London-based oil company BP as an oil-field production operator and owns a commercial fishing business. The family lives in Wasilla.
