Tweeps With Highest Number of Twitter Followers

I still can’t think of a proper title for this post, but I guess may be it’s relevant to the topic. Do you know which users got the maximum or highest number of followers? How many twitter followers you have? Hundred or may be something in Thousand figure? That’s quite less. OK, let me ask you again, how many maximum followers can you think of? What do you think would be the maximum number of followers someone has on his twitter? The answer is 1,804,029.

Yes! Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) has 1,804,029 followers. 1.8million followers on twitter is a huge amount. And he is only following 149 people. Now coming to the second position, we have Ellen DeGeneres (@TheEllenShow) with 1,536,208 (1.5million followers) . He is also having a website just like Ashton which gives up gossips, news and photos about celebrities. On the thirst position, its NEWS. CNN Breaking News (@cnnbrk) with 1,507,430 followers just jumped from 4th position to the 3rd one and left Queen of Pop Miss Britney Spears (@britneyspears) left behind having 1,493,124 followers (1.4million followers).

Here is the list of top 10 users with most / highest number of  followers on twitter.

3. CNN Breaking News (@cnnbrk) –  1,507,430 followers
4. Britney Spears (@britneyspears) –  1,493,124 followers.
5. Barack Obama (@BarackObama) –  1,193,125 followers.
6. Twitter (@twitter) –  1,157,167 followers.
7. John C. Mayer (@johncmayer) –  1,085,273 followers.
8. Oprah Winfrey (@Oprah) –  1,068,119 followers.
9. Ryan Seacrest (@RyanSeacrest) –  1,018,948 followers.
10. Jimmy Fallon (@jimmyfallon) –  1,011,893 followers.

From the list above, I have only figured out one thing. If you are a celebrity page 6 blogger with gossips, photos and videos on your website, you will be the most followed one. On the second place they are celebrities them self. All of the top 10 in the list are either celebrities or do have some connection with celebrities (except the CNN Breaking News and Twitter itself). So, I guess the Celebrity niche is the best one so far if you need success.

From no where to No.1 it’s Lady Gaga on the top in the leaders of twitter most followed profiles. The new profiles which came in the top 10 list of highest number of followers are of Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. This new top10 list shows that people are getting less interested in the CNN Breaking News and all the top 10 list are of celebrities.
